Our New Life

Things have changed so much for our family over the last six months.  In October 2011 DJ left for Basic Training with the Army in Fort Sill, Oklahoma.  I was working at a new job at Select Specialty Hospital and I was happy.  As hard as it was to be without of him for 2 and 1/2 months, we made it and are stronger for it.  While he was in Oklahoma I was living with my mom, which was a big help with the first seperation from my husband.  While DJ was gone our lives were changed by the passing of my great-grandfather a few weeks after DJ had shipped out.  While DJ was gone we started talking about the idea of beginning our family.  One time while we were talking on our weekly phone calls DJ took me off guard by telling me he was ready to start our family.  I was so excited by the fact that everything was coming together.  I went to Oklahoma in December with DJ's mom, sister, and her husband to see DJ graduate.  I was so excited when we were reunited and seeing him all dressed up in his dress uniform and couldn't believe we were finally together again.  He was home for a little over 2 weeks and the time went by so fast.
Before I knew it, the morning had come where it was time to say goodbye once again.  DJ's AIT is at Fort Eustis in Newport News, Virginia.  I moved to be with him in the beginning of February because his school is 6 months long.  Before I moved, I had been feeling very ill and couldn't shake the feeling that something was up.
On January 22, 2012 I was at my friend Dannielle's house and took a pregnancy test at 1AM and it was positive.  I was so excited and couldn't wait to tell DJ the following morning.  We were so shocked that we were expecting so soon after beginning to try.  We can't wait to meet our little creation in September.
I am now a stay at home wife and going to school for Medical Transcription and Editing.
Life is so amazing!!!!

Update On Our Family

Wow!!! Haven't been on here in a while. Life has been so super busy lately. We now live on the beach and we love it. The biggest adjustment is being so far from our friends but we are getting settled. We love our new house and especially being 2 blocks from the beach even though the oil spill might ruin things. With our move it has put us into the Beach Branch which we absolutely love. The people there are so sweet. We miss our old ward family but we fill right at home where we are now. I am leaving for Atlanta on the 18th for an overdue visit to Kari and the kids and am excited to go to Six Flags again. I am crossing my fingers that Dj will be able to get it off but if not I will be flying solo. It will be the longest we have been apart since we have been married. We have only been apart overnight and I was a wreck. Now with the overnight shift he is working we will hopefully be able to make it through. Still no little ones added to the mix in our family but hopefully sometime in the not to distant future we will have a sweet little spirit in our house. I never knew how much you could love someone that you don't even know. Our children will be loved when they are finally in our arms and will always know that we are trying our best to provide and loving and spirit filled home to raise them in. Life is amazing and I couldn't ask for a better husband or family. DJ is amazing and he is so good to me. I don't know what I did to deserve my eternal companion at such a young age but I am very grateful to have him in my life. Heavenly Father does so much for us and I don't know where we would be without him. I love life :)

New Adventures for the Moreau Family

So...things are changing in our house. As people heard today at church that DJ is now second counselor in Young Men and I am the nursery leader. Some things in our personal lives are changing too. We are working on going to the temple to be sealed for time and eternity!!! We are so close and it is so exciting. We are making changes in our lives to bring our lives closer to our Heavenly Father. We are trying to completely immerse ourselves in the service of our Heavenly Father and are receiving so many blessings. Our new callings are going to bring us so many blessings. DJ is going to get the amazing opportunity to impact the lives of these young men and be an example for them. DJ is so excited for this chance to work with the youth. While my calling may seem to some as a hard task, I see it as a chance to really teach these children about their Heavenly Father and his wonderful blessings he gives us for following in his ways. These young children are so willing to learn and teach me so many amazing things. I am so excited for this new chapter in the Moreau family. I am so excited to get to spend time with these lovely children since we do not have a child of our own yet. Life is amazing!!!

A new blog

So...Keli and jacob told us we should start a blog so here we are. Don't really know where to start. I guess the best way to start is with a little info about us Moreaus. We have been together since July 30, 2004 and have been married since July 28, 2007. I am lead pharmacy technician at CVS Pharmacy and DJ is a security guard. We love spending time together, with our family, and our wonderful friends. We love listening to church music and discussing the restored gospel. We have yet to add any children in the mix but for now we're ok to just play with Addi, Matthew, and Olivia. Life is great and God is AWESOME!!!!! We love outdoor activities and can't wait for cooler weather so we can go camping with the Langstons. Well, I guess that will be all for now. I don't know if anyone will even read this. Oh well.
